Coolsculpting is a noninvasive procedure that removes excess fat cells from your body. It’s safe and effective. Better yet—it’s nonsurgical, making it a more popular option than traditional liposuction. You can even drive yourself home, and resume normal activity immediately. CoolSculpting has been FDA cleared since 2010.  We are proud to offer our patients the newest fast cycle treatment being performed by our licensed nurse practitioner or physician assistant.

Does CoolSculpting Work?

Yes, Coolsculpting works. One treatment may reduce a patient’s number of fat cells by as much as 25 percent.   It is ideal for isolating body parts such as the belly, thighs, bra fat, double chin or love handles.  Coolsculpting even works for treating upper arm fat that some refer to as “bat wings”

How does Coolsculpting  work?

The principle of cryolipolysis  is the basis of Coolsculpting.  The idea is based upon cells dying due to being exposed to prolonged cold temperatures.  Fat cells, when exposed to extreme cold for prolonged periods of time, freeze and die.  Frozen, dead, fat cells are excreted out of the body naturally over the course of several weeks and are gone for good.

How long before I see results  from Coolsculpting?

On average most patients see the most dramatic result after about three months, but you may start to see changes in as little as 3 weeks.  Once fat cells die they are gone forever.  Results are often transforming.

What areas of the body can CoolSculpting treat?

Coolsculpting treatments are individualized to each patient’s goals.  Our treatment professionals like to say, “ if you can pinch it we can treat it.”  Coolsculpting has been approved for the treatment of: under the chin, bra fat, abdomen, inner thighs, upper arms (bat wings), back fat, flanks/sides (love handles), underneath the buttock(banana roll) and outer thighs (saddle bags).

With such a variety of treatments available our providers can create individualized treatment plans based on specific goals.  Almost all areas require two treatments, spaced 2-3 months apart.  Larger areas may require more depending on patient goals.
