Wrinkle Therapy, Dermal Fillers, and Skin Rejuvenation
Facial Wrinkle Filler Specialists
Dermal fillers help to improve volume loss and instantly soften wrinkles by filling them in, as their name suggests. Fillers are injected with a needle or microcannula into or under the skin, depending on each product’s individual application. Most of the fillers contain an anesthetic ingredient, such as lidocaine, to make the administration minimally painful. The most common treatment areas can be divided into three different categories:
1. Folds, Grooves & Wrinkles
Hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers such as Restylane®, Restylane® Lyft, Juvéderm® Ultra, and Juvéderm® Ultra Plus, among others, are injected directly into folds or wrinkles to reduce their appearance. These HA fillers are most commonly used for treatment of nasolabial folds, lips, pucker lines, marionette lines, and tear troughs under the eyes.
Some HA dermal fillers are more volumizing than others; therefore, in certain treatment areas, one product may be preferable over another. Our medical staff will discuss your aesthetic goals with you and recommend the best treatment options to suit your individual needs.
2. Overall Loss of Facial Volume
Volume loss in the midface, such as sunken or hollow cheeks or lack of definition along the jawline can also be improved with dermal fillers. In these areas, more volumizing fillers, such as Restylane® Lyft, Juvéderm® VOLUMA, and Radiesse® may be most appropriate.
3. Hand Rejuvenation
Although their appearance is often overlooked when considering skin rejuvenation, our hands can certainly reveal our age. If they appear too thin and bony, our hands can make us look much older than we are.
Injecting dermal fillers such as Restylane® Lyft, Juvéderm® Ultra Plus or Radiesse® into the hands can improve their appearance, giving them a smoother and more youthful look.
